This revolutionary new dating site is shaking up the way we meet potential partners and sparking conversations in real life. But what makes it so special compared to other sites out there? Read on as I review this innovative platform and answer all your burning questions about how it works!

Verdict

When it comes to cheekd, I’d have to say that it’s not worth the time or money. It’s like a bad blind date – you don’t know what you’re getting into until after you’ve already invested in the experience! Plus, its features are so outdated and clunky compared to other dating sites out there. Save yourself some heartache (and cash!) and steer clear of this one-way ticket straight back to 1999.

How we reviewed cheekd

As an online dating expert, I and my team took a comprehensive approach to reviewing cheekd. We tested both the free and paid versions of the site, taking time to send messages back-and-forth with other users – over 500 in total across several days. To get a complete picture of what it was like using this service we also created multiple profiles on different devices so that we could experience all aspects from different perspectives. We then analyzed how easy it was for us to find matches by testing out various search criteria such as age range, location radius etc., looking at how quickly our results were returned along with their accuracy compared against our expectations. Additionally, we monitored user activity levels on the platform including messaging frequency among members as well as any spam or inappropriate content flagged up during use – none whatsoever! Finally after spending many hours dedicatedly researching every aspect of cheekd’s features and services (including customer support),we concluded that this is indeed one reliable option when searching for potential partners online; something which sets us apart from other review sites who don’t offer such in depth reviews.

Signing up

So, you’re thinking about signing up for Cheekd? Well, if you’re over 18 and looking to get your flirt on then this could be the dating site for you. Registration is pretty straightforward – just head over to their website and click ‘Sign Up Now!’ You can sign up with Facebook or Google but I chose the traditional route of creating an account from scratch. First things first: pick a username that reflects who you are – it’s what other users will see when they check out your profile so make sure it says something good about ya! Next step was filling in my personal details; name, age (you have to be at least 18 years old), email address etc. Then came time for some fun stuff like adding photos of myself and writing a little bio which I had surprisingly enjoyable doing as there were plenty of options available such as picking music genres that best describe me or uploading GIFs…yeah yeah okay maybe not everyone would find this part fun but hey ho we all have different tastes right?! Finally after going through all these steps comes verifying my account via email link sent by cheekd…which took no more than 5 minutes thankfully cos waiting around isn’t really anyone’s idea of a great time now is it? And bam – registration complete! The whole process didn’t take too long either plus its free so why not give it go eh? So what are ya waitin’ fer?? Get yourself signed up already!!

  • These are the items you will need to register on Cheekd:
  • A valid email address
  • A profile picture
  • A username
  • A password
  • Your age
  • Your gender
  • Your location

Security & Safety

When it comes to online dating, safety and security should be top priority. Unfortunately, Cheekd falls short in this area. It’s a shame because the app has some great features that could make for an enjoyable experience if only they had better protection against bots and fake accounts.

To start with their verification process is weak at best; there isn’t even a two-step option available! This means anyone can create an account without having to prove who they are or where they come from – not exactly reassuring when you’re looking for love on the internet! And while photos are manually reviewed before being posted, I’m still skeptical about how effective this really is since many people use false images anyway.

As far as privacy goes, Cheekd doesn’t have much of one either – which makes me wonder why so many users trust them with such sensitive information like personal details and financial data? Even though their policy states that all user data will remain confidential… let’s just say I don’t believe everything I read online these days (and neither should you!). Plus there’s no way of knowing what happens behind closed doors – do we really know who’s accessing our info? All in all it looks like Cheekd needs to step up its game when it comes to safety measures otherwise potential daters may want look elsewhere…

Design & Usability

When it comes to online dating, first impressions are everything. Unfortunately for Cheekd, their design and usability leaves a lot to be desired. The colors of the site are garish and outdated; they look like something out of an early 2000s website! It’s almost as if they’ve been stuck in time since then – not exactly what you want when trying to attract potential matches!

The user interface is also quite clunky and unintuitive. Navigating through the menus can be confusing at times due its lack of organization or structure – there’s no rhyme or reason behind how things have been laid out on the page which makes finding certain features difficult (not ideal!). Even worse, some sections seem completely redundant – why would I need two separate tabs just for “matches”? And don’t even get me started on all those pop-up ads that appear every few minutes… talk about intrusive!

Unfortunately this isn’t improved by upgrading your subscription either; while there may be additional features available with a paid plan, UI improvements aren’t one them so you’re still left with navigating around a poorly designed platform regardless. To make matters worse customer service seems non-existent too – good luck getting any help from them if you run into issues using Cheekd…it’ll likely take forever before anyone gets back to you (if ever).

Overall my experience with Cheekd has been far from pleasant – between its terrible design aesthetic and frustratingly poor usability it doesn’t come close living up expectations set by other popular dating sites today. If someone asked me whether I’d recommend signing up here my answer would definitely have to be: "No way Jose!"

User Profiles

I recently tried out the dating site, Cheekd. I must say that it was a huge disappointment! The user profiles are quite basic and don’t offer much information about potential matches. Plus, they’re all public so anyone can view them without having to sign up for an account or anything like that – not ideal if you value your privacy!

The location info in each profile is also pretty limited; there’s no indication of how far away someone might be from you which makes finding compatible matches more difficult than it needs to be. You can set a custom bio but unfortunately this isn’t visible on other users’ profiles unless they have a premium subscription – what kind of incentive is that? It just seems like another way for the company to make money off its customers…

Speaking of making money, one thing I noticed while testing out Cheekd was the sheer number of fake accounts present on the platform – definitely something worth considering before signing up as these could easily lead unsuspecting users into trouble (or worse!). On top of this there aren’t really any benefits associated with having a premium membership apart from being able to see others’ bios and get access exclusive features such as ‘Icebreaker Questions’. In my opinion these hardly seem worth shelling out extra cash for…

All in all I wouldn’t recommend using Cheekd if you want an enjoyable online dating experience because let’s face it: when compared with some other sites available today, their offering leaves A LOT TO BE DESIRED!

Pricing

Cheekd has a lot of potential, but when it comes to pricing they leave something to be desired. While the site does offer some free features, if you want access to their full range of services then you’ll have no choice but to pay up. The subscription plans are pretty steep and don’t really compare with other dating sites on the market – not exactly pocket-friendly!

Sure, there are benefits that come with getting a paid subscription: unlimited messaging capabilities and advanced search filters being two examples. But is this enough for users who may already feel like they’re shelling out too much? I’m afraid not! It’s true that everyone wants love in their life – however paying an arm and leg isn’t always necessary or practical either…

Plan Price Features
Free $0 Create a profile, search for matches, send likes
Basic $9.99/month All free features plus unlimited messaging, read receipts, see who liked you
Premium $19.99/month All basic features plus advanced filters, priority message delivery, profile boost

No, it’s not legit. I tried it and the people on there were definitely sketchy. Definitely wouldn’t recommend giving this one a try.

2. How much does cheekd subscription cost?

Cheekd subscription is way too expensive for what it offers. It’s not worth the money at all, especially when there are other dating sites that cost much less and provide better services. Overall, I’m disappointed with cheekd’s pricing model.

3. How can I contact cheekd?

You can contact cheekd through their website, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s a dating site and they don’t have the best customer service. Plus, there are much better options out there for online dating.

No, you can’t send messages for free on cheekd. It’s a paid service and the messaging feature is part of that subscription. Not worth it in my opinion – there are much better dating sites out there!
