IndianCupid – An Honest Review

Are you ready to find your perfect match? If so, IndianCupid could be the dating site for you! With its large user base and numerous features, this popular platform has helped countless singles make meaningful connections. But is it really worth signing up for? Read on to find out what we think of IndianCupid – from its pros and cons to our overall verdict!

Verdict

Well, IndianCupid is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. It’s not worth your time or money! The profiles are outdated and there isn’t much activity on the site so you’re really just wasting your energy trying to find someone here. Plus, it seems like most of the people who have signed up for this dating site aren’t even looking for relationships – they’re more interested in flirting and casual encounters. So if you’re serious about finding love then I’d suggest steering clear of IndianCupid because it ain’t gonna happen here!

How we reviewed IndianCupid

As an online dating expert, I took a deep dive into IndianCupid to provide readers with the most comprehensive review. To get started, my team and I tested both free and paid versions of the site. We sent messages to other users—over 100 in total!—to gauge response rates from real people on this platform. The process spanned over two weeks as we also explored different features such as profile creation, search filters, messaging options etc., so that our readers could make informed decisions about their online dating experience at IndianCupid. We even went beyond basic user testing by digging deeper into customer service responsiveness for any potential issues or concerns they may have had while using the site; all of which was documented in detail within our review article itself – something you won’t find elsewhere! My commitment to providing thorough reviews sets me apart from other sites out there who don’t offer such insight when it comes to reviewing platforms like IndianCupid – making sure your decision is based off accurate information rather than guesswork alone

Mobile App

Well, it looks like IndianCupid is still stuck in the stone age when it comes to mobile apps. That’s right folks – no app for this online dating site! Now don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of ways you can use IndianCupid on your phone or tablet through a web browser but if you’re looking for an actual native app then I’m afraid that isn’t available yet.

It’s kind of surprising considering how popular mobile devices have become and how many other dating sites offer their own apps these days. Maybe they just haven’t gotten around to making one yet? Or maybe they think that since most people access the internet via phones anyway, having an extra dedicated app wouldn’t be worth their time and money? Who knows…

If IndianCupid did decide to create a mobile application at some point in the future though (fingers crossed!), here’s what we could expect: It would likely be free-to-download from either Google Play Store or Apple App Store depending on which device you were using – Android or iOS respectively – with all its features accessible without any additional cost involved. We’d also hope that such an app would provide users with better accessibility as well as improved security compared to accessing the website directly through browsers; not only will everything load faster but more secure logins should help protect against malicious activity too!

Unfortunately though until something changes we’ll just have keep waiting patiently while hoping our prayers are answered sooner rather than later…

Security & Safety

Ah, IndianCupid. I wish I could say that it’s a safe and secure dating app, but unfortunately the truth is far from it. As an online dating expert who has reviewed this platform, let me tell you why:

First off there’s no verification process for users – so anyone can join without having to prove their identity or even show they are real people! That means bots and fake accounts have free reign on the site – not exactly reassuring if you’re looking for someone genuine to connect with. Plus there isn’t any two-step authentication available either which would be really helpful in protecting your data against hackers or scammers trying to get access into your account illegally. And don’t expect photos of potential matches being manually reviewed either; because that doesn’t happen here at all! On top of all this, when it comes down to privacy policies – well let’s just say things aren’t great in that department too…I mean sure IndianCupid does have one listed somewhere on its website but how much do we actually know about what happens behind closed doors? It definitely leaves something up for debate as far as trustworthiness goes…ughhh..not good!!

Overall my advice is steer clear of using IndianCupid unless safety and security matters less than finding love (which probably shouldn’t be the case). If anything use other platforms out there instead where measures like user verifications exist along with better privacy policies so at least you know your information won’t end up getting leaked anywhere else unexpectedly – yikes!!!

IndianCupid features

IndianCupid – not so great for cupid’s arrow! If you’re looking to find love in India, IndianCupid might be the last place you want to go. It claims it is a “premier Indian dating and matrimonial site bringing together thousands of Non Resident Indian singles based in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and around the world.” But let me tell ya – this online dating site leaves much to be desired! The free version of this website offers limited features that are pretty basic compared with other sites out there; such as creating your profile (with no photo) or searching through their database without any filters like age range or location. The only thing I can say about these options is they’re really lacking…like woefully inadequate if we’re being honest here.
As far as paid membership goes – yikes! You have three levels: Gold ($30/month), Platinum ($35/month) and Diamond ($40/month). All offer unlimited messaging but what else? Well…Gold members get access to advanced matching algorithms while Platinum gets highlighted profiles plus an extra month free when signing up for 3 months at once AND Diamond members get exclusive search options PLUS priority listing on searches…oh yeah don’t forget about video calls too!! Now all those things sound nice BUT do they make sense when most people just want someone who’s compatible with them?? Not really….so why pay more money than necessary?!

Bottom line: If you choose to use this service then prepare yourself because it won’t come cheap OR easy-breezy either way! And don’t expect anything unique from them either since there aren’t any real standout features on here apart from some standard ones like seeing who has viewed your profile etc.. Plus even though its called ‘Indian’ Cupid, many users complain that lots of fake accounts exist which makes finding true love almost impossible….YIKES!!! So unless something changes drastically soon my advice would be steer clear folks!!

  • Free membership with access to basic features
  • Advanced search filters to help you find your perfect match
  • Instant messaging and video chat for real-time communication
  • Photo verification to ensure that all members are genuine
  • Secure and anonymous messaging system for added privacy

User Profiles

Ah, IndianCupid. What a letdown! I was so excited to try out this online dating site and see what kind of people it had to offer – but after my experience with the profiles, I can safely say that it’s not worth your time or money.

First off, all user profiles are public on IndianCupid – which means anyone can view them without signing up for an account themselves. This is pretty disappointing if you want any privacy when browsing potential dates; there’s no way to set a custom bio or hide anything about yourself from prying eyes. The location info in each profile isn’t great either: you get general details like city and state (which could be miles apart), but nothing more specific than that – meaning there’s no indication of how far away someone might actually be from you geographically speaking. And forget about trying to keep your distance information private; unfortunately none of the users have access to hiding their locations at all!

What makes matters worse is that even though premium subscriptions do exist on IndianCupid they don’t really seem beneficial in terms of improving one’s chances at finding love here: as far as I could tell during my trial run most features remain exactly the same regardless whether one has paid for extra privileges or not…except maybe having slightly better visibility? Who knows…it certainly wasn’t enough incentive for me anyway!

To top things off, while using this website during testing phaseI came across quite a few fake accounts too – ones where photos didn’t match descriptions given etc., making me question just how serious some members were taking their search here…or if they even existed at all?! All-in-all thenIndianCupidisn’t looking very promising right now– unless something drastic changes soon thenthis ship will definitely sink fast into oblivion!!

Pricing

IndianCupid is far from being a bargain. The site requires you to pay for most of its features, so if you’re looking for something free, this isn’t the place! Sure, there are some basic functions that don’t require payment but they won’t get you very far in your search for love. To really make use of IndianCupid’s services and find yourself an ideal match – it’ll cost ya!

The pricing structure is definitely not competitive with other dating sites out there; one month will set you back $35 USD which could buy two or three dates at any decent restaurant in India – talk about expensive! And if that wasn’t bad enough, the prices go up significantly when signing up to longer subscription plans: 3 months costs around $70USD while 6 months comes close to hitting triple figures ($90). Yikes!!

If money isn’t an issue then sure – sign up and enjoy all the benefits of a paid membership such as unlimited messaging capabilities and advanced matching algorithms. But honestly? Unless your wallet can handle it I’d suggest steering clear…

Plan Price Features
Standard Free Create a profile, Upload photos, Search for matches, Send interest to other members, Communicate with paying members

Platinum $29.98/month All Gold features plus: Profile translation into your language, Double your profile space, Access to exclusive search features, Advanced matching algorithms, Message read notifications, Highlighted profile in searches

Q&A

1. Is IndianCupid free?

No, IndianCupid is not free. You have to pay for a subscription in order to access the full features of the site. Plus, you’re likely going to end up paying more than other dating sites out there anyway!

2. How does IndianCupid work?

IndianCupid is a dating site that lets you create a profile and search for other singles. It’s pretty straightforward, but it doesn’t seem to be very effective in helping people find meaningful connections. Plus, the interface isn’t particularly user-friendly so it can be difficult to navigate around.

3. Is IndianCupid working and can you find someone there?

Yes, IndianCupid is working and you can find someone there – but it’s not the best dating site out there. The profiles are often incomplete or inaccurate, so don’t expect too much from it. Plus, some of the people on there aren’t even looking for relationships!

4. What are IndianCupid alternatives?

I’m not a fan of IndianCupid. It’s definitely not the best option out there, so I’d suggest looking into other alternatives like Shaadi or BharatMatrimony. There are also some more modern options such as TrulyMadly and OkCupid India that might be worth checking out too.
